Serial number: S179-276SP
2230: Spock is born to Sarek and Amanda Grayson in the city of
Shi'Kahr on Vulcan. Spock's mother,
Amanda Grayson, was a human school teacher from Earth and his father,
Sarek, was a respected diplomat and ambassador from
Vulcan.
As a result, he was torn between two worlds, the
stern discipline
of Vulcan logic and the emotionalism of his human
side. The
struggle to reconcile his two halves would torment
him for much
of his life.
"Journey to Babel" [TOS]
His lineal Vulcan name is unpronounceable by most
Earth humans.
2235: While a young boy of five, Spock played a practical
joke that gained him an unfortuante yet short-lived
reputation.
"Yesteryear" [TAS]
2237: As a child, Spock was teased about his human heritage.
Once, Spock came home upset after getting
into a fight at school because the other Vulcan
boys had tormented him, saying he wasn't really Vulcan.
His father scolded him and told him that if he didn't
pass the kahs wan, a test of maturity, the next month,
he would be very disapointed. Later that night,
Spock ran away, on his own unauthorized kahs wan. He
was brought home the next day by his cousin Selek.
The next month, Spock passed his kahs wan easily.
As a child, Spock had a pet sehlat, sort of a live
Vulcan teddy bear.
"Yesteryear" [TAS]
In an alternate timeline, Spock's pet sehlat, I-Chaya,
was mortally wounded and the seven-year-old Spock
decided to have him euthanized rather than continue
to live in pain.

a young Vulcan girl named T'Pring. The telepathic
touch would draw the two together when the time

"Amok Time" [TOS]
Spock was raised with an older half-brother, Sybok,
until Sybok was ostracized from Vulcan society
because he rejected the
Vulcan dogma of pure logic.

Sarek opened an 18-year rift over Sarek's
hope his son would attend the Vulcan Science Academy.
(It is conjectured that Spock was the first Vulcan
to enlist in the Federation Starfleet).
"Journey to Babel" [TOS]
2252: Spock said he worked with Pike for 11 years,
4 months, which suggests he was young enough when
he first came on board the Enterprise that he was
probably still attending Starfleet Academy. Because of
this, we speculate that Spock's first year on the
Enterprise was as a cadet under Cpt. Christopher Pike.
"The Menagerie" [TOS]

Pike.

spurned Spock and instead chose Stonn, a full Vulcan,
over Spock for a mate. Spock returned to the
U.S.S. Enterprise
unwed.
"Amok Time" [TOS]
Spock suffered infection by parasites on planet Deneva,
an intensely painful experience. He survived the
Denevan neural parasites after being exposed to

from his body. Spock was briefly feared to have
been blinded by the light, but it was later learned that his
Vulcan inner eyelid had protected his vision.
"Operation Annihilate" [TOS]

an ancient weapon known as a flintlock. He survived
using a Vulcan healing technique in which the mind
concentrates on the injured organs.
"A Private Little War" [TOS]
He did eventually marry in a ceremony attended by
Lt. Jean-Luc Picard.
"Sarek" [TNG]
2269: After returning from the Guardian of Forever with
Captain Kirk, Spock discovered that he had entered
an alternate reality in which he had died at age
seven. It was determined that if he went back in time to 2237,
he could save the life of himself as a child to
retore the timeline. Spock was successful in doing so but this
time his pet sehlat, I-Chaya died.
"Yesteryear" [TAS]
Spock almost died when the woman of Taurus II drained
him of his life-energy.
"The Lorelei Signal" [TAS]
stardate 5371.3: Spock has a limited
telepathic ability and when in close proximity to an individual can effect
meld minds with that individual. Spock had
to undergo an extraordinary mild meld with a vast planet-consuming
cloud creature. Spock was able to convince the being
that when it consumed inhabited planets millions of small
but significant lives were
lost.

fifth clone of a Terran scientist that lived during the Eugenics wars.
Keniculus
created a 25-foot-tall clone of Spock because he
felt that Spock was a perfect specimen
for his plan to create an army of giant peacemakers
-- clones which would enforce peace
on the war-torn galaxy. Kirk's tried to convince
him that nearly the whole galaxy is
already in peace but Keniclius didn't believe him.
Meanwhile, the original Spock is dying,
due to the cloning process. Kirk turned to
the Spock clone for help, successfully
convincing him to help. The clone mind melds
with the original Spock and thus saves his
life. At the end of the mission the clone
of Spock along with that of Keniculus remained on Phylos to help
the
Phylosians.

reverse ageing. As a result of Captain Kirk growing too
young to command, Spock temporarily assumed command
of the Enterprise. When Spock became too young,

returned to their normal ages by use of the ship's
transporters, and Kirk resumed as the Enterprise's captain.
"The Counter-Clock Incident" [TAS]
After the conclusion of the U.S.S. Enterprise's first
five-year mission, Spock retired from Starfleet and
returned to Vulcan to pursue the emotion-purging
kohlinar discipline from the Vulcan Masters.
"The Motion Picture" [ST1]

failed to achieve kohlinar because his emotions
were stirred by the V'Ger entity. He reactivated his commission during
the V'Ger crisis
under Kirk on a refitted starship Enterprise.
"The Motion Picture" [ST1]

2285: Spock relinquished command of the cadet-filled

crew to escape
from the Genesis Device detonation initiated by
Khan Noonien
Singh; his radiation-wracked body was consigned
to space but landed
on the newly formed Genesis Planet. Although believed
to be dead,
Spock had, just prior to his death, mind-melded
with McCoy. It
seems that Spock had apparently intended for his
longtime friend
and sparring partner to return Spock's Katra to
Vulcan in accordance
with Vulcan custom. The presence of Spock's
living spirit in
McCoy's mind was later found to be an extraordinary
opportunity
to reunite Spock's body and spirit when his body
was found to have been regenerated on the Genesis Planet.
The fal-tor-pan ( refusion) process was conducted
at Mount Seleya on Vulcan, and supervised by the high
priestess T'Lar. This was the first time in

Romulus on a personal mission to further the

use Spock's reunification
initiative as a cover for an attempted Romulan invasion
and take over of Vulcan
Spock, along with Picard and Data were instrumental
in stopping the invasion.
Spock was saddened to hear of the death of his father.
Spock had never chosen
to meld with his father during his life, but prior
to his death, Sarek had mind-
melded with Jean-Luc Picard, sharing with Picard
his deepest emotions,
unclouded by Vulcan logic. Picard's presence on
Romulus allowed Spock a final
last solace. Thanks to the earlier Picard-Sarek
meld, Picard was able to allow
Spock to mind-meld with him, and thus experience
the love that Sarek had felt
for his son. Spock chose to remain underground
on Romulus in hopes of
furthering the cause of reunification.

from many worlds, especially Terran, and
played both tri-dimensional chess as well as the
